Great starter surfskate!

I've had mine for a few weeks now, and it feels really good! I am a big fan of plastic boards, and the grip has some good tack to it. The waterbourne adapter took some getting used to, but it feels really good on banks and turns.

Be mindful that this deck is better suited for smaller riders. I am 5'11" ~75kg, and I don't feel entirely stable on it. The tail flexes quite a bit when I'm pumping, and I'd appreciate being able to hold a wider stance. If they had a ~32" surf deck I'm sure that'd be my speed. I'm also not a big fan of the stock wheels, so will be swapping those out next.

Got it yesterday and can't stop :-)

Ordered without testing and it is everything I hoped for. I haven't skated since i lost my first pink girls skateboard at age 10. 35 years later this beautiful Blackout Penny Surfskate has me doing whole rounds around the block, only two hours after unpacking and finding my stance. Right from the box, no hassle. Very intuitive because of the solid feel of the board, i am 160cm tall, 5'2.
Expedition was very speedy, on top.

Not a fan of the grip tape.

Have been a big fan of the Penny skate experience for years. But I'm not convinced with this board. Not happy to have a grip tape on a plastic board, also the board itself is surprisingly heavy and bulky.
